Helios going downwind with Code 0
Traveling between Pender Harbour and Powell River in Strait of Georgia in British Columbia
This is a view of the inside of Helios. The two aft berths are queen size, and the forward one has been converted to a storage area for cleaners, tools, spares. There are 3 steps down from saloon to either ama (hull) We sleep with our heads towards the stern, not as shown
Looking down on the outside. All control lines are led back to helm seat, so you don't have to leave
Helios at commissioning. Arch supports the dinghy and bimini (cockpit cover), which has 6 solar panels. The louver shades reduce heat generation inside
Helm seat and navigation instruments and sail adjustment lines with electric 2 speed winch
The dinghy is secured by lower lines pulling it up tight against the arch brace and our large seat for viewing
A good view of the sun shades and horizontal windless, which hauls up the anchors. There two anchors we normally only use one at a time. In lower right small solar panel on hatch powers small exhaust fan to help circulate air inside
The saloon table and seating. Circle lid with hole in lower right of picture has garbage can below. The pole is mast support
